Welcome to Crisp Cleanings. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our website and the provision of our cleaning services. By booking or using our services, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

  • Crisp Cleanings offers residential, apartment, deep, move-in/move-out, and commercial/office cleaning services in New York.

  • Services may vary depending on the type of booking and will be confirmed prior to the scheduled appointment.

  • Independent contractors perform cleaning services on behalf of Crisp Cleanings. Contractors are required to maintain their own insurance and comply with New York regulations.

2. Booking and Scheduling

  • All bookings must be made through our website, by phone, or via email.

  • Appointments are confirmed upon receipt of a booking confirmation from Crisp Cleanings.

  • Clients must provide accurate information about property size, condition, and cleaning needs to ensure proper scheduling and pricing.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • Pricing is based on the type of service (standard, deep, move-in/move-out, or office cleaning) and may be flat-rate or hourly.

  • A valid payment method is required at the time of booking.

  • Payments are processed securely through third-party providers. We do not store credit card information.

  • Additional charges may apply for extra tasks not included in the original booking (e.g., interior appliances, windows, or excessive mess).

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments up to 24 hours in advance with no penalty.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service price.

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7–10 business days.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must provide safe access to the property at the scheduled time.

  • All valuables, personal items, and fragile belongings should be secured before service.

  • If cleaners are unable to access the property, a lockout fee may be charged.

6. Independent Contractors

  • Cleaners engaged by Crisp Cleanings are independent contractors, not employees.

  • Contractors are responsible for their own insurance and compliance with applicable laws.

  • Crisp Cleanings ensures contractors meet professional standards but is not liable for their personal obligations outside of services provided.

7. Liability

  • While we take care in delivering services, Crisp Cleanings is not responsible for:

    • Normal wear and tear during cleaning.

    • Pre-existing damage or poor condition of surfaces.

    • Items not properly secured by the client.

  • Any claims of damage must be reported to Crisp Cleanings within 24 hours of service completion.

8. Satisfaction Guarantee

  • We strive for 100% client satisfaction. If you are not satisfied, notify us within 24 hours and we will work to address the issue promptly.

9. Privacy & Data

  • We respect your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Changes to Terms

  • Crisp Cleanings reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

  • Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be handled in courts located within New York jurisdiction.
